DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Organize activities concerned with manufacture, maintenance, operation or modification of network systems. Assist with technical support and instruction to staff and customers regarding electronics equipment standards and network operations. Assemble necessary criteria, procedures, reports and plans for successful projects with consideration given to preparation, facility validation, installation, quality assurance or testing. Oversee network projects to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy and compatibility in the resolution of work operations. Prepare network for construction, relocation, or installation of network equipment, facilities, products, and systems. Provide information such as confidential descriptions or specifications of network operations and systems, product development schedules, product costs, and information about product performance weaknesses. Carry out operational, maintenance and testing procedures for network systems, components or equipment. Examine and maintain electronic equipment, instruments, products and network operations to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, or applicable codes or regulations. Evaluate networking requirements, capacity and cost to measure project feasibility.
